Obviously, our Phase I ESAs are modeled after, and incorporate, ASTM Standard E-1527-13 and USEPA’s “All Appropriate Inquiry” regulations. Our approach constitutes “all appropriate inquiry into the previous ownership and uses of the property consistent with good commercial or customary practice” as defined in 42 USC§9601(35)(B). As such, our work enables you to qualify for the innocent landowner defense to CERCLA liability.
Equally important, our investigators exceed the required qualifications of certified Environmental Professionals. With years of experience and advanced degrees in Environmental Science, our site investigators will make sure your interests are protected. Furthermore, we require continual education through professional development seminars and conferences to make sure our skills stay current.
Specialized Ecological has performed Phase 1 Site Assessments throughout the mid-west. Our ability to quickly respond to our clients’ needs with accurate environmental data enables them to make property acquisition decisions with confidence.
We have become the ‘go-to’ firm for LIHTC and HUD-funded Phase I ESA’s. We are well informed and understand the unique considerations of these development projects.
